Bill Grove

Bill Grove, who won five Lanco Amateur titles in the 1980s, has been voted into the Lancaster County Golf Hall of Fame. Grove, who now resides in Sea Island, Ga., will be the seventh inductee into the Hall of Fame.
Grove won Amateur titles in 1982, '85, '87, '88 and '89.
He also won the Lanco Open two times, in 1985 and '87,
and the Lanco Better-Ball three times, in 1983, '88 and '91. He is also a seven-time Lancaster Country Club champion and four-time Sea Island club champion.

During the summer a slate of candidates is voted on by the following individuals:
- 16 Current LANCO Golf Association Board Members
- Head Professionals at the 12 LANCO Member Courses
- Designated Local Media Personalities
Those nominees who garner at least 70 % of the vote will then be considered for induction that year.
